Devils right side is probably already set between Hamilton, Marino and Nemec. Casey is likely penciled in to play in the minors throughout the 24-25 season.
I suppose there could be a possibility of Fitzy moving Marino in a hockey trade, in which case your suggested Devils trade would become more compelling.

Why are the Devils paying a 3rd for a RHD they don't need and also paying a 3rd for a 4th line winger, that when he takes faceoffs he's around 45%?

Even if the cost doesn't make sense, the fit doesn't make sense.

    What is this roster man?

Trineyev is far from NHL ready if he will ever be.

Why do we have so many damn thirds. Move some picks to get higher draft selections.

Frank is not a winger and he is barely nhl ready.

Robertson is not taking Ovi's spot much less having Ovi on third line.

This is a dumpster fire of a roster

To be more precise, Hawks don't need more LHD. They are stocked there.

haha. It happens. Honestly, I always end up doing the same thing, trying to balance value and going back and forth in my head until I just delete it because things are getting too ridiculous. Which is why I rarely publish ACGM's of my own.

"4th line winger, that when he takes faceoffs he's around 45%" WTF cares what his faceoff % is....? he's a winger lol. He also plays 14 minutes a game.... doesnt seem like 4th liner minutes but double check that for me okay?

You lost almost all your credibility on these 2 statement alone... why? bc you 100% havent watch a single bears game this season or in the playoffs

Frank is lighting it up in the playoffs and had 29 goals in 64gp. One of the fastest players in the AHL. "not NHL ready" based off what? honestly asking.... adds speed and skill to Ovi line which he desperately needs bc hes slow.

3rd round has a ton of talent if you scouted this draft enough. assuming you havent... Nabokov Zetterburg are 2 suppose to go early 3rd.

Ovechkin is 39!!!! yes!!! 39 years old. LOOK AT THIS YEARS PLAYOFFS... if hes on your top line thats a true "dumpster fire of a roster"

Who cares about faceoffs...? The Devils don't need to trade for some bottom six winger. They need center.

TVR has played LD in the past. At this price I’d take it happily.

Malenstyn is the exact type of 4th liner we need. He’s incredibly fast, and he has a ton of size. Literally a perfect fit.

TVR can play LD if needed, or be injury insurance, or we can move Marino. At the cost of a 3rd it’s imo a no brainer, unless we can get McNabb for a 3rd in which case I would do that.

In terms of that class of Dmen, my order of preference

    McNabb
    TVR
    Dumolin
    Hague

The difference between the AHL and the NHL is substantial yes he is having solid seasons in the AHL but look at Matthew Phillips and others that have lit up the AHL but their game cannot be found at the NHL level. He is having a good playoffs but he had a slight better than average regular season.

3rd round will have some good players, I see Nabokov going in the second personally. The talent is too high to leave him on the board that far into the draft.

Ovi is getting old yes, but he did not look bad during the regular season. Maybe he has lost a step but he is still playing hard. We do not have a good enough LW ready to take his spot on the top line and he will stay there because the organization owes him everything

Philips isnt fast and plays a more skilled / soft game.
Literally 5-10 people know hes even draft available this year. Teams likely dont touch him till 3rd/4th rounf due to the talent in the 2nd round alone.

Ovechkin played 30-40 good games this year? thats pretty horrible.

Ovi has no support on his line. He was playing with a guy who is still considered a rookie and varying RWs.

If Ovi had some support he would have had a better season.

What do you mean 5-10 people know about him? He is ranked the second best goaltender in class.....

I wouldn't be surprised if he is taken in the second round. He is a legit all-star goalie in his first season in the KHL.

Malenstyn would be a perfect fit in NJD imo. Tough role, fast, physical. We do need a 4C and Trenin maybe should be prioritized at LW instead of malenstyn.

I think Mercer Trenin Lazar Haula Malenstyn all have enough of a C skillset to be able to fill out our bottom 2 Cs.

Vinnie, Yegorov, George, Matecha, Saarinen.... none are better than Nabokov imo but teams are weird.

Pavel Moysevich is damn good too. If the Caps could land him in the third round or after I would be thrilled.
