I don't really see why the Leafs would need to do this. They need more prospects, and there is a bunch of UFAs who could fill the same role for cheaper

Cernak signed long term is more important than Chychrun short term and 26-28OA. Cooper isn't a fan of playing guys on their off-hand side and they need to improve the right side not left pass.
