Calgary Blocks your phone number for a whole year. (At least offer Dawson Mercer or Calgary First foe both Markstrom and Sherangovich)
Or do the devils have sellers remorse.
(And Wendt was just signed last month, aint happening)

Why would Calgary even consider this trade?
Markstrom without retention is worth at least a 1st round pick or prospect similar value, you didn't offer that.
Sharangovich is worth more than what you got for Toffoli, not the Flames fault they won that trade and they don't owe you a take back.

Stephenson and Zadorov get more and so does Kane unless he choses to take less to play for a top team (Vegas, Dallas, NYR not NJD)
Pretty sure Palat's no trade lasts until next off season

Inflated Markstrom price.

Markstrom clearly does not want to remain in Calgary. Flames had agreed to a trade, asked him to waived, he agreed to waive for NJ, team even asked him to inform locker room that he had been dealt…then ownership tried to shake down Devils for more assets. Markstrom ripped Conroy in media…and even by end of season, was ice cold towards him.

After season, Fitzy was still bitter about the amateur hour s**tshow in Calgary, even called it ‘extortion’. It would be very hard to see these two teams come together for any trade. If Markstrom wants out, but is only waiving for NJD, return will be tiny (he did use his NTC elsewhere).

Dallas declines. Would much rather spend $1.5M to bring back Wedgewood than nearly $4M to have Allen sit behind Oettinger. Spending that much on a backup goalie is crazy, even if you take out the fact that the Stars would be giving up a pick for him.

Allen costs 1.9 mill but NJD won't be trading him

He's an excellent possession player who drives play at a high level

well, if he still exists, wild don't need any more bottom-line players. Wild have need for top line, not bottom, so it's a no.

Flames get absolutely nothing of value in that trade and Sharangovich alone would be worth more than that so we’d pass without a second thought.

Calling Ondrej Palat a bottom line player is a crazy way to say "I don't watch hockey"

well even if he plays on top line, wild aren't taking on that contract, so you can keep him. Wild aren't place to be sending large contracts too. Wild will just sign a top line winger for one to two years. No thanks

Calgary declines.

Devils fans need to learn how trades work. You can't just pile up a bunch of things you don't want to get what you do want. You have to give the other team something they want too.
