Demko's game has gone to another level. He has an 8-3-0 record through his first eleven games. His save percentage is an incredible .932%. His GAA follow suit (2.05). He's flat out been one of the top goaltenders in the league to start the year, and a big part of the reason the Canucks find themselves hovering around the top of their division and the Western Conference.
Demko has only had one average start (vs Toronto).
Everything about Demko's game has been outstanding. Crease composure / tracking / second stop battle / finding pucks in traffic / making timely saves to allow his team to get on track.
Monitor his first 5 minutes of every period. The Canucks have started slow some nights ... not Demko ... he's been making big stops early in games.
