This would be the perfect offseason - thoughts
Dont see BOS moving Coyle or MIN moving Rossi
Like Necas as a target, but not Lindholm at that term
Theres better 3LD options than Aho and Id think Bussi would beat out Martin Jones for backup spot, the 34yo veteran goalie can sit in Providence, rather see what they got in Bussi
This is a good team you constructed though, much improvement in the top 9

Goalies don’t have that value</div></div>
Since when?
Kuemper - 1st/Timmins/cond 3rd
B’s traded Jones - 1st/Kuraly
Varly - 1st
Vokoun -1st/2nd/cond 2nd
Schneider - 9th overall pick
Just a few examples.

I think you did a good job trying to make it realistic. I find Lindholm dangerously overrated so I would be terrified of that contract personally.

Bruins
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dons_weeney</b></div><div>I like the moves, but the contracts/trades aren't quite fair, here's what I'd expect to be more realistic:
Vegas doesn't need a goalie, and Ullmark wants to stay in the east, so I'd imagine his return is a late first or early second rounder or roughly a second line winger. If they did want someone of William Karlssons value, they'd probably have to add a mid to high level prospect or a good draft pick just to match value
Return for Carlo seems about right, maaaaaaybe he gets a late first
Beecher/Geekie/Wother wouldn't get a first. maybe a second and third instead
Most contracts look good, no overpayments, but Swayman gets at least 7m, Zadorov probably around 4 or so, Debrusk around 5 or so. Stamkos definitely gets more than that, could see him getting 3-4 years at 7.5 mil
Stephenson and Heinen contracts look spot on, the rest look good too</div></div>
I totally agree with most of this. I think stamkos takes a cheaper deal to be in a contender such as what guys like Tarasanko and Kane are doing. I think swayman would want 7 million but would take less to get a longer deal. I think the vagas deal would be good for both. The knights get an excellent starter on a great deal and the bruins get the center that they desperately need. I like what you’re saying though.

Top center targets for this team in the offseason imo
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jfkst1</b></div><div>Lindholm looks like a huge risk to me, but if BOS wants to go all in on this core go ahead. Dallas would only trade Hintz on an overpayment so it would cost an absolute fortune to get. There would be a massive bidding war for him as he has no trade protections until July 1st. Carlo AND Lohrei is around the value of what Nill will want. Sweeney desperately NEEDS a center. Nill doesn't need to trade Hintz. Necas does seem like the best risk to take as he is at least young and has less downside risk and likely won't cost a fortune. Might only be Ullmark with an extension.</div></div>
Don’t view Necas as less downside risk than Lindholm especially when you consider likely cost to acquire.
I think the biggest risk is not acquiring anyone. I’d rather go Lindholm and a minimum player than Stephenson and a 2.5m player

If he gave us his word prior I’d be fine with it still~ I’d assume him waiving his ntc would mean he’d be fine extending here anyway~

Yeah I know but I’ve always heard of verbal agreements in the weeks leading up to July 1st

What Id consider for game 6
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dons_weeney</b></div><div>Looking good for the leafs at this point, they're shutting down any chance boston gets and they're keeping them to the outside. Woll leads the playoffs in save % and GAA, and I think that's far more reflective of the team than it is him. Of course he's played well, but the bruins haven't gotten any good looks, in large part to the leafs defense.
Swaymans playing out of his mind, but nobody else is even close to his level of compete/urgency
The most overlooked reason why the leafs are winning now is the fast that they instantly cleaned up their game penalty wise. 2 penalties in the last 2 games is incredibly disciplined. They realized Boston was winning off of power play goals, and when you take that away you see what the bruins really are.
Will be an interesting game 7, I'm going Leafs 4-1, knies/nylander/domi/marner the goal scorers
Although is it possible to pick both teams to lose? :tearsofjoy</div></div>
Swayman's been fantastic though... And I'm sticking to what I orginally said, Bruins in 7... 3-2 OT BOS with Pasta OT winner...
Leafs haven't scored 4 since RD1 G4 last year... They need to figure it out...
PP still sucks and it's Swayman...
But I hope you are right and I'm wrong lol...

he's been an absolute perfect fit on that line. if there is a line that isn't to be messed with, it's that one. just a ridiculous concept to break them up.
