Domi C Tavares LW
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JaredOfLondon</b></div><div>Sure, i like tavares better as a C too, but I think he'd be fine on the wing with a good C and that domi is not that guy. Say, by some miracle, the leafs got Mark Stone or someone who plays like that, even a danault from LA who plays a slow the game down type way.
And likewise he wouldn't work with a burner like william karlsson etc</div></div>
Danault had 1 point in the playoffs. Stone is injury-prone. come on dude

Tavares took over 1300 face offs in the regular season and won over 800 and took 147 in the playoffs and won 82 of them.
Sample size means a lot. This isnt trolling, this is apples to cans of bud lite comparison</div></div>
You just repeated what I said with more info on their stats. lmao, you've definitely been touching the Bud Lite.

Domi C Tavares LW
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JaredOfLondon</b></div><div>I think he's fine at LW with a good C, but domi is the opposite of that</div></div>
I think taking something special away from a slow player, struggling to shoot accurately and play defensively would be wrong. Wingers should be fast and be able to forecheck/carry the puck. Tavares is good at winning puck battles around the net and taking faceoffs. Obviously, his game is a little better than what I'm making it seem but he's always played center, and doesn't make sense to change it especially when he's 34. Come on guys be realistic.

Tavares was 59% in the faceoffs in the regular season. what are u talking about? lmao. Domi was 66% in the playoffs. Which are both very good especially to have on the same team. quit trolling

Tavares is useless as a LW. Why don't people see this? He was also 59% in faceoffs which is close to #1 in the league.

Noticed lots of pens fans trading for jarnkrok and thought adding timmins may be a want for Dubas. Also been seeing fans trade acciari. Either way you still need guys who can score in the bottom 6. My reasoning.

he had an 890 save percentage. He is not getting anything more than that and feels that he was the problem for why they lost against Boston. Also, no one picked him off waivers. He only had 1 good season and that was last year.

doesn't have to be Chicago. There are plenty of teams who would use him on their third/fourth line. he is also a line 1 penalty killer

realistic off season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Michaeli13</b></div><div>All respect to Varlamov, but we don't want him. He's 36 and idc how good he is, it's too big a risk especially when Marner is going the other way
Also Robertson will likely stay, he took significant strides and had a great season points-wise. Him and Steeves are worth way more than that trade and it's not even close
Why would the Leafs trade Holmberg?? This just doesn't make sense same with Robertson and Steeves for picks</div></div>
Varlamov is a great option. idc what his age is he can be a good backup for Woll. He can learn a lot from him which would be nice for Woll's development. Also, Robertson likely gets traded. His asking price will most likely be 2M which is high for a player who did nothing in the Playoffs. We need a playoff team, not a regular-season team. Holmberg also didn't produce in the playoffs, he played well but didn't help on our third line. Either he or Kampf would get traded. There's a reason Steeves is in our AHL. Either way, he's not going to resign with us so it doesn't matter whether if he's involved in that trade or not

Marner has been playing bad with Tavares. It's probably best to put him on a line with Jarnkrok. That way you can call it more of a defensive line

final playoff lineup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mikael_Smith</b></div><div>Almost sad to let go of the Robertson- Holmberg - Nylander line
Liked that one a lot</div></div>
That line didn't really make any sense to me tbh. Robertson doesn't have a strong well-rounded game so he's invisible while Nylander is lazy and is probably pissed at Sheldon for being placed on that line so he's invisible. Holmberg has potential and played well against Florida but Jarnkrok is a more well-rounded player who can help us on the penalty kill. Nothing wrong with Holmberg, he has a lot of potential but he's probably going to be a starter next year as he has shown a lot of improvements.

He is also a penalty killer so while Batman rigs the game we have a higher chance of killing their powerplay. The only issue the Maple Leafs have going into the playoffs.
