SJS overpays for 7

Description
What started out as thinking about using the ability to take on Korpisalo to move into Buium territory, turned into major roster surgery for the Sens.

They really need to move on as a roster. Specifically from Chychryn and the weak right side. The goaltending on this team is terrible, TERRIBLE! So I’m three blockbusters deep and gave up trying to fix this mess.

I wonder if Faulk would waive? I was looking for a top 4 RHS Dman with some term that is somewhat unloved by their own team. Hard to find! Faulk might be the only one.

Staios will buy out Korpi before he gives away #7. We NEED this prospect at #7 and the difference in players between 7 and 14 is big unless Eiserman falls to 14.

SJ wouldn’t take on Korpisalo for a first plus in terms of draft capital. But they might to move to seven key spots.

I’m not sure the fall off all that big actually. Especially if you want a winger. The only RHS D I would love for OTT is Levshunov.

But at 14 I like Eiserman Catton (if he falls) Senecke and Yakemchuk. So there is lots to like around the amount as Dickinson

Sens take Parekh or Iginla at 7 and call it a day. No need to do this

Dickinson is arguably the best defenseman in this class imo. If he was a righty he’d go right behind Celebrini easily imo.

Even if it means another mediocre to bad goaltender in a deck full of them, Benning to move up 7 spots is a trade you make even if those spots are 50 to 43. If its 14 to 7 you do everything not to giggle while you're doing it.
