Marchand is out on concussion protocol reportedly (fairly obvious if you watched him get up after the hit and punch) so Debrusk is the best replacement there. Zacha is not good, but Coyle isn't as bad, so Coyle wins the spot between them.

Brazeau can actually carry and handle the puck unlike any other player, so he could be quite beneficial in a top 6 role even if his speed is underwhelming.

Boqvist and Lauko are a speedy combo and Geekie can score every now and then, so low risk moderate reward third line.

McAvoy is clearly injured, constantly coughing up the puck, so let Lohrei and Carlo eat minutes. Let McAvoy be 4/5 on the depth chart in terms of TOI until he's healthy or proves he can play through whatever he's dealing with.

Forbort is awful, obvious choice to take him out.

Swayman is being hung out to dry but also isn't bailing his team out, so let him rest and see what Ullmark can do. He might be rusty, but could be the spark he needs. Has motivation from last year too.

Overall, not liking this roster/lineup much. Hopefully next year is better. Make some good moves in FA, hopefully land a good center or at least a good center prospect, and add a scoring winger. D and goal are all set.
