I have a weird feeling we might see a Cirelli trade

Unless it's a solid overpay and Tampa is acquiring a cheaper top 4 dman with term from the trade, trading Cirelli is very unlikely.

Difficult because Cirelli is an all around guy, who is beloved, but he doesn;t really have the production to match his value to TB.

His value in trade is hindered by his 40-50 pt expected production, but he still has good value.

Maybe fix 2 or more holes by trading him?

Just shooting in the dark but maybe something like a LD/RD Egor Zamula (23 yrs old, 21 pts on a bad offensive team in his first full yr), a high 2nd rounder (CBJ 2nd or ANA 2nd) and a player like C/LW Noah Cates or RW Bobby brink from PHI, which brings in youth AND depth AND saves cap space?

Cirelli's contract is fine a Selke caliber 2C with a 7% cap hit people wayy f***ING over blow that.

Oh, dont get me wrong its not really his salary/cap hit for a player of his ilk, its more so looking to make cap space on a team lacking picks/prospects and try and build a deeper team. I think his cap hit is in line with some contemporaries (Chandler Stephenson for one),

Its just about trying to inject the team with quality depth and younger players to get back to being a 2nd round or better team
