Why would Columbus want Marner? That makes no sense for them

Love it, made a similar AGM with the trade return being Jenner. Cant see Columbus moving Kent.

Probably a better way for the team to allocate cap space at this point. Would love to move Mikheyev too but maybe he'll bounce back being able to train this offseason.

CBJ decline. I don't see them going for Marner and that is not enough to entice them to let go of Johnson.

If the goal is to give up Johnson to get Marner, Columbus would just orchestrate that trade directly with Toronto. Johnson would be a direct Marner replacement in terms of role, that just makes sense.

I'd be opposed to CBJ trading for Hronek and keeping him, too. I've said it elsewhere: his value is highly inflated by playing with the league's best D-man IMO, and I don't want to be the team to overpay for that.
