Perimeter Mitch isn’t going to help the canes in the playoffs lol.
Plus no way the canes pay that much on any of these three trades . Especially the Toronto and Chicago trades

Id consider this if I was Chicago. You can keep KK around for a couple years and it won't impact the cap at all. In 2026, when Bedard and others are due for extensions, KK will still only be 25 and his buyout after that is almost nothing.

If KK costs that much to dump and they are not interested in keeping him, just buy him out. Pass on Morrow for Marner, someone who will likely be in the top 4 D next year at 1.15 M AAV is more valuable to the Canes that a winger at 10.9, especially if it means not having Dumba. Just no to that Ottawa trade, jeez.

Why are you dumping KK to sign Wennberg? That makes 0 sense.

WAY, WAY, WAY too much for Tkachuk. Drop Nikishin and Kochetkov at LEAST.

Yeah this doesn’t make sense for the Canes. They’ve been good for a while now and even in this series, they’ve outplayed the Rangers for a decent chunk of it (minus Sheshterkin, who is an absolute wall out there).

Tkachuk is gonna cost a premium young piece. Boldy or Nemec level U-24 piece

Mitch is literally a 0.81 PPG player in the playoffs & was recovering from a high ankle sprain, the idea that he is a ghost is so over stated, he just needs a head coach & powerplay coach who isn’t a bumbling idiot
