Pretty boring
Looks about right for next season...I do think Lettieri starts in Iowa and Riley Heidt get a shot to see if he belongs on the big club, which would move the centers down a position meaning Freddy is in the press box..which a lot of Wild fans would like to see. Or Perron slots in at 3LW and Jojo is in the press box.
And if Heidt needs more time to develop then this is pretty much the roster.:-/

I don't see the Wild making this trade.
Why are the Sens looking to offload Chychrun? Do they not think they can re-sign him?

If Rossi was 6'2" I don't think the Wild would even listen to offers for him let alone try to actively trade him....

Haha the wild get the first overall....I want that kool-aid you're drinking. The Wild will finish in the middle of the pack again next year end up somewhere between the 13th - 20th pick again.

I think the Wild would give Merrill away for Freddie Charles (FC) but if you want to give away a 5th the Wild accept that and say no givebacks!!

No Petey
I doubt the Wild make this trade. There is no reason to, they will still have a major cap crunch next year, I think they would wait till the year after when Boeser is a FA and then when they have the money freed up from the buyouts try and get him in FA without having to give up assets.

Step up
The problem with signing Scheifele and Nylander to 5 plus years at those numbers are you run out of money to pay KK97 and some of the younger talent even with the cap going up there are alot of ELC that will need new deals after 2-3 years and those add up pretty quick even if half of them don't get huge money for a second contract.

This looks like a really good team...man I cant wait till the buyout pain is over and hopefully some these prospects hit and turn out to be quality NHL players.
Dont forget about Ohgren...He could slot into a Swed line with Eriksson Ek and Johansson

The Wild hang up the phone as soon as you say 1st round pick. BG hasn't and will not be trading 1st round picks anytime soon let alone 3 consecutive years worth for a goalie the Wild don't need.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Shaw is going to get a new contract but I thought I heard it will be like a ATO and will be placed in AHL for awhile to get physically ready and get some games before actually signing a new contract. So I would think the cap space would be alittle higher maybe enough to bring up another ELC player. And hopefully by the time Shaw is ready we will have accrued more cap space or it could be around the TDL and someone could be gone by then freeing up more space.

2024 TDL
I could see the Wild making that trade at the TDL if they are out of playoff contention. I think it would also depend on what Boqvist's next contract is to make the money work.

lets see if any of these come true by end of week
I think this is pretty much what could end up happening. Personally I am not sold on Revo coming back but it could be an option at the term and AAV listed.
Nothing against Clifton and I really am not a huge fan of Merrill but I would keep Merrill and not sign Clifton just based on Merrill's size. If the Wild are going to trade Addison then there is no point in signing a similar sized Dman in Clifton. I would like to see some size on the back end, now easier said then done with the limited cap space so we will see in the coming days and weeks.
Overall term and AAV is probably what happens with Gus and Shaw. I would say if the Wild could get something for Steel then try and do it but I doubt any team will trade for his rights seeing as the Wild don't plan on offering a QO.

Wild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>Really? Why so?
If Wild need inexpensive players and more speed…and have a goalie to spare, I figured this accomplishes that.</div></div>
Wallstedt is not ready for NHL action just yet. The Wild are probably not going to ship out Gus unless there is a stalemate with his contract or some GM offers a deal that is too good to pass up. If he does get shipped out I would guess BG would be looking for a pick and prospect Turcotte is intriguing though. The Wild would then sign a cheap backup for the time being.
I've seen Moose on a lot of ACGM threads could he get moved yeah maybe but its more likely at the TDL if the Wild are struggling next season. I think Moose has some value but not a ton, his value is more in regards to locker room and leadership for the Wild, if he can have a halfway decent season next year his value will be alot higher come TDL time as he is a playoff type of body (as long as he can keep his emotions in check) and usually teams are willing to give up more at the TDL.
The cap situation in MN is bad but I don't think its so bad that BG is ready to start giving players away or panicking to the point where he starts making moves just to clear space. The Wild were still a 100 point team and pretty much have the same team rolling into next year.

Duhaime will be re-signed probably a 1.1mil at 2-3 years.
I still think Addison is going to get traded but if he is re-signed its going to be something like a one year deal maybe 975K - 1.2 mil.
Steel he might get re-signed but it will be for a mil or less.
Goose is probably gone too and then they would sign a cheap veteran Dman for under a mil.

why bring colton back to be bottom 6
I doubt the Wild trade Hartman or Moose in the offseason, if they are getting traded its going to be at the TDL for picks and prospects. If both have just decent years next season then they both could get a nice return in separate deals.

if trevelin wanted the leafs to win in the playoffs
Why would the Wild trade for one year of Matthews with a higher cap hit. This makes no sense for the Wild...do the Wild need a #1C yes but what good is a #1C without a star winger in Kaprizov?
