Probably a no from SJ, Thompson's one of the only decent RHD prospects they have.

A couple m6 pieces and a late 1st won't get it done.
With Brady being on a long term deal you're talking Othmann, Perrault, 1st +

Utah Blizzard: Only one that sounds like a real sports team
Utah Mammoth: Again, why isn't it plural?</div></div>
Mostly agree. only thing that sucks is that the Blizzard might just be too similar to the Avalanche.

Not related.
I'd add him too, had a pretty strong first season with the cuda.

Also wouldn’t Senneke or Nylander fit this group better than Eiserman???</div></div>
That's why I hope they snag Nabokov in the 2nd this year.
Sennecke would be nice and fills a RW need. I just am interested in the Celebrini - Eiserman familiarity. Ideally they would fit very well together as a sniper - TWF combo. Even though Eiserman comes with risks associated with his all around game and translation to the NHL, here I'm shooting for the boom potential rather than a more confident solid m6 RW.

RW upgrade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mvp13</b></div><div>I don't disagree with the notion that you need an NHL team to foster development, but where the nuts have you been the last few years? It makes no sense to me that you are fine with selling off everything, but the buck stops at 1 year signed 32 year old Granlund? Just doesn't make any sense. Grier obviously doesn't agree or else he wouldn't have dumped and retained on Hertl for six years. That is center ice leadership that makes sense to keep because he's under contract and wanted to stay (at one point, anyway), not a temporary flier like Granlund</div></div>
With Hertl he was on a long and expensive contract (as was EK, BB, etc.) and they wouldn't be great players by the time SJ's ready to compete again, so they needed to be moved. Granlund has helped FZ and Eklund's development enough where it's worth it to keep him. SJ might look for high picks for him at the TDL or a RD prospect. Value might be there on the face and I'd like to take a chance on Kakko but likely would look for a higher pick (which I know you unfortunately don't have for a while) instead of Bryce + 5th.

I can see it for Goody. Trouba would only get an asset if retained, which unsure if NYR would do. Maybe attach a pick to offload 8 mil (somewhere not necessarily SJ) and then sign a true T4 like Montour.

I don't think a bunch of 1 year deals to the likes of bottom 4 Myers, HS Tony, and constantly disappears Mantha are going to move the needle in the slightest.

Just about even AAV. I think it's more about trying to tap into the potential KK upside as he's still only 23 whereas Mikey is more or less a known quantity. If he can develop into a solid two way 3C the contract won't look terrible.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MyTeamsSuck</b></div><div>Ullmark is one year removed from winning the Vezina, he’s 100% worth that pick. Yall have no concept of worth when it comes to goalies. If you want good goaltending you have to give up something of worth for it, not your scrappy late round picks and B list prospects. If it were that easy TOR or LA would have good goaltending. The only excuse for not paying for Ullmark is “he’s too old” or “he doesn’t fit our timeline for contention” which is bs since you’ll never find a young top goaltender on the market without giving up half your franchise for him.</div></div>
He's also 31 at the start of the season and seemingly falls apart during the playoffs (sure, you can blame some on the team). Don't think a team with a still young core would trade that high a pick for him.

Always thought Rutta would have been good to re-acquire for bolts. Seems to be solid value contract and he just paired well with Hedman. Is he valued in San Jose or possibly available?</div></div>
He had a better season than I expected, I think he's generally expendable though, just with a cap close to 3m seemed hard to get him back in TB.

No Couture
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Tblecavalier4</b></div><div>I think our GM (Bolts) doesn't care about being embarrassed and looks as past investment/deals. (Examples, trading McDonagh away basically for free just to drop his cap then 2 years later trading for him but spending a 2nd rounder). Bolts are either willing to give him away or double down on Jeannot coming in healthy and living up to potential.
If Sheary will waive no trade clause for San Jose, please do take him. He signed in Tampa to find stable long term place for his family, so he might be good with that in San Jose, but cost of living and taxes he may not bold well for him. Weather would work. I am sure bolts will have to tell him its Syracuse or waive your NTC if they don't want him back.</div></div>
Not a bad way of business, seems to own up to mistakes and move on. Hopefully something like this allows you to re-sign Stammer. It'd be very weird seeing him in another jersey.

Concerned that Pageau is only 5'10" 180 lbs</div></div>
Was thinking the bigger Kostin would make up for it. Maybe if Couture's fine then no JGP trade and slot cap in there as 3C.

Same here, I'd probably rather have a guy like MBN or Sennecke.

They definitely do, worst org depth after RD. Although if a consensus top 10 good D (unlikely) or good C (more unlikely) drop to 14 take them. If they luck into a C or way to soon Hagens next year I can see Smith going to RW long term.

Would be great if SJ gets Emery there, could see him fitting well with Cagnoni too. Only thing I'd hope is that SJ takes Eiserman at 14 if he's there, they really need an all situations sniper in the pipeline and his history with Celebrini doesn't hurt.
