I doubt it. If NJD is moving this years 1st I’d imagine it will be for a great player, such as a goalie with term, not two pretty good players.

Sell me on why NJD should prefer Rasmussen to Detroit's 1st in a trade like this

My valuation of Walman is around a late 1st or 28th overall. So that would be valuing Rasmussen as around 17th-18th overall based on puckpedia calculations.

I'm not completely turned off, but I'm not an expert on Rasmussen so would need some info from you on his upside, current level, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
