Mock Draft with Trades

Draft Class: 2024
Created By: NHLfan10506
Published: May 1 at 9:57 a.m.
Description
LOTTERY NOTE -- The first overall pick belongs to San Jose. There is a glitch in capfriendly that moves the second lottery team to 1st overall of a 12-16 team wins the first lottery. That is incorrect. If a 12-16 wins the first lottery, they move up 10 spots and lock into that position and San Jose would lock in the 1st overall pick. Then the second lottery would be determined to the remaining draft slots (#2, #3, and #5-16).

Correct order
1. San Jose
2. Chicago
3. Anaheim
4. Pittsbugh
5. Columbus

Yamemchuk will not drop out of the top 10 and if he does fall that far the Capitals better take him.

He is probably 11-20 range…so I don’t think I have him too far off here. Top-10 would be a reach.

Honestly thats wild to me after watching him play. He checks off the boxes you want, mobile, has size, RHD, good shot, good vision, sure he has some minor needs to work on in his own end but damn he is a good offensive defenseman
