Leafs 2024-25 NUFD

For those who don't read descriptions, this was made to discuss the trade from https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/770154 on that thread. Feel free to comment on lines and the like, but not looking to discuss the trade here.

You post a team people will comment. Leafs aren't adding a first in the trade. Topi on the #1 pairing is a lot to ask. Would rather sign Tanev than Brodie. Sammy won't be back and if he is the backup he isn't getting 4M.

I'm not saying to not comment on the team, just the trade because it's not my proposal and I explained why. If they want to comment on the trade they could always do so on the original thread. It's the flames who are adding the 1st not the Flames.

- Yeah, topi on the first pairing but he could be paired with Rielly possibly even if he's not paying top pairing minutes.
- Tanev would be a nice signing but I have a feeling he re-signs with CGY unless he's dealt at the deadline.
- Sammy might not be back but I mostly used him as a placeholder. I don't think that Woll will automatically be the starter though the following year even if he wins the job this year, unless he continues having success through the playoffs.
