Additional Details:
Assuming that 1) Lindgren costs 5M+ to re-sign 2) Drury does not want to buy out Goodrow 3) Gustaffson can be had for ~3-3.25M 4) Rangers would rather have Gustaffson+ another Defender for the 5M+ that it would cost to sign Lindgren. Ex. Gustavsson at 3.25M and Brodie at 3.5M.

Basically, Rags21 roster here but with Gustavsson+ Brodie (or someone else) instead of Lindgren + cap

I don't see the Leafs trading Brodie, but are you saying you would be opposed to trading him even if they got Tanev?

What the heck?? If Leafs got offered that deal, they would take it and run with it. Kinger do you actually read the trades before you say no or is it like a copy and paste thing? NYR turn that down in a heartbeat. Lindgren is probably their best defensive defenceman and in a good contract

He does need an extension though, got to hope that Drury has a Buch-Moment. Chances are that if he does trade him this off-season, it would probably be to a team in the West like Arizona, maybe Vegas.

Yes I was hoping they would go after Trouba. After this season, I think he will have one year left on his contract. Would be fun to watch
