Considering Conroy's track record, I'm gonna bet the Devils don't give up this much

I didn't take into consideration Bahl's value in that trade but the picks alone is a price that I could see him getting. His track record shows that he's willing to get things done, and not hold out for high prices. They will probably still want a player as part of the package so I guess it could be Ty Smith or a prospect just not sure who NJ would give up or maybe a player instead of one of the picks.

I can't see NJ -they probably get Allen from MTL- or any team taking on Markstrom's contract without retention except for the Oilers if they are sending back Campbell and CLB Merzlikins. Merzlikins is playing okay now though so maybe CLB doesn't want to move him. The difference though is Markstrom only has 2-years left at 6M and Merzlikins has 5.4Mx3. Merzlikins' contract is much more buyout friendly than Markstrom's though whether it be this off-season or the next.
