Rossi for Knies - Who Says No

Yes, for the immediate time being, you're thin at centre.</div></div>
Hartman literally played 1C for 2 years. I think he would be fine there until Yurov arrives.
I’m not trading Rossi for Knies though.

Rossi for Knies - Who Says No
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Matt Knies is a fine power forward prospect but Minnesota is thin at centre and Marco Rossi is the only possible candidate for their #2C next season. Are we thin at center?
Ek, Rossi, Hartman, Khusnutdinov, Gaudreau at the NHL level with Yurov/Heidt/Kumpulainen/Bankier/Haight/Stramel/etc all developing.

Those are non-starter conditions for a 3rd pairing guy.

Please don’t make Tkachuk proposals. You trigger little sens fan who then post garbage like this.

Why would Minnesota make that trade…? We expect to have MAF back next year. Gus is under contract. Wallstedt is waiting in the wings. We don’t have a need for Jarry.

Pivot to Boldy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RazWild</b></div><div>Bull.
That's the current 11th ova (CAL), 23rd ova (WPG), and a future 1st in a much weaker draft. So a mid-level 1st. A late 1st. And a 1st that only matters if it's a top 5 pick next year, or it holds no interest, given how top heavy next years draft is.
Furthermore... none of Xhekaj, Struble, Harris, or Engstrom are remotely worth a 1st round pick. Don't make me laugh.
He might not get the *equivalent* of a better offer. But it's going to take a better offer than that to get it done. More quality, less quantity.
He's UNTOUCHABLE. Even if he were available, Minnesota isn't rebuilding, it starts with Montreal's 1st THIS year plus another high-end piece like Dach or Huston. If you insist on sending a lower 1st that isn't in the top 5, that prospect is going to be Slafkovsky.</div></div>
It’s not even this year’s pick for Calgary.

This is such a ridiculously stupid way of looking at this. Minnesota has Boldy locked in for 6 more seasons after this. They get to dictate the terms of trading their player. If you don’t like it, happily **** off.

No it’s not lol. Those prospects are not enticing and neither are the three late 1st round picks. You want Boldy, start by putting Reinbacher in play. Otherwise don’t bother.

Still doesn’t make sense. Minnesota would be hoping that player turns into a Boldy type in 2-3 years. If Boldy goes, it’s for an upgrade at a position of need.
