Under normal circumstances I'd agree, and the offer does likely remain low.

But this is the deepest draft in years, and likely will be for a while. Arizona is also going to be pressured to move them, as any quality NHL player will refuse to play at ASU.

Arizona's only interest is in picks and prospects, which they'd need to get from another team, which Marner would go to.

Hate to tell you, but anyone on the Coyotes with any value is being traded. Namely Hayton, Keller, and Crouse.

They were patient, but with the arena plan falling apart everyone is going to want out, and the organization will have to do right by the players.

Sammy had a shutout the night prior, was probably exhausted and didn't get a proper warmup.

Murray needs work though. His hot first half of the season has really balanced out recently.
