Neither do the flyers. The value is not their to begin with, and trading within the division chucks up the price even higher for the canes

For walker it starts a '1' and ends with an 'st' with Ceci included. Flyers already have a logjam and will require more of an overpay to acquire him. Remove Ceci and its fair value imo.

Philly Binnington Toropchenko STL Bonk futures
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CantStopWontStop</b></div><div>I’m basing this off Elliot Friedman saying that it’s possible Philly searches out a low cost goalie at this deadline. The rest was mashed together. What better home for Ron Hextall version 2.0?
Also, I’m a complete moron - I know what position sanhiem plays but forgot when making the deal. O well.
I’m unsure what goalie would fit the low cost title (who is also playing well).</div></div>
Oh your good, you ain’t a moron for not knowing every teams agenda. To me binnington just doesn’t fit that low cost, but it sure would be funny to watch him play under torts. They view sanheim as a righty but to me, with how our prospects seem to be falling, he’ll eventually shift back to left. I can’t see them breaking up a future pairing of York - drysdale (former teammmates and buddies off the ice) and shoving bonk to just third pair minutes.
When it comes a low cost goalie, I really only see Allen or a vladar fitting the bill based on term. But it’s fun to think about.

Dumb to say anything but flyers would do that, but with how sandstrum played against the Sens, we may have found a solution internally for our back-up

Flyers are not trading Bonk and they are most definitely not trading for an overpaid goalie with temper issues. We have two goalies in the khl right now, with on projected to back up Errson next year. To bring in binnington would create the same log jam you laid out on defense. To me in regards of the defense logjam in Philly, is that we’d run a pairing of
York - Drysdale
Sanheim - Bonk
Zamula/Seeler - Walker/Risto.
They are reported trying to decide on who to commit to longer term with Walker/Risto, so either way the plan is to shed a right handed d coming from now and until the draft

I still think the oilers should move for a defenseman, not a huge move but a player like walker, sealer would compliment that defense nicely.

Forementon is the only confirmed, and Hart/Dube are the other likely involved. The other two are likely unsigned players

What should be the plan for the goaltending situation in Philly going forward
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>lowblocksniper</b></div><div>Yeah but giving up a 3rd rounder (any higher and I agree not worth it) to give the boys a chance to stay in the playoff race is worth it without ruining the rebuilding plan.
I don't think Sandstrom and Peterson send the right message to a group of players that are overachieving and playing some good hockey. Getting a solid #2 goalie sends a small vote of confidence from Management to the players like saying thank you for the hard work</div></div>
I just think the goalie market is so ridiculously overpriced that any trade for a goalie would cost an arm and a leg. There is a reason why vladar, Allen, Primeau, Gibson, Copley, and so on, have not been moved yet, the price is so lucrative. Montreal was likely demanding a second-plus for Allen, and although that ship has sailed, is a good indicator it is not our best interest to move for a goalie. But I do agree with your sentiment, and is why I like the Drysdale acquisition given the situation.

Let sandstorm or Peterson play the remainder of the year. No point in trading for a goalie when we can sign one in the off-season. I do not want Hart back on this team rather see what we have before moving on.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Prime_Jimbo</b></div><div>Definitely other options. If they buy, it seems known that Allen is available and it wouldn't be a big price to pay. Can't hurt given the big turnaround this season.</div></div>
I'd agree given any other circumstances, but the mantra has been lets see what we have this year, such as with Zamula, Brink, Forester, etc. So I'd rather see sandstorm, but if they were too, I definitely agree Allen would be a good option and provides good veteran guidance for an overall younger team.

We have that already. No need, think we should give Peterson or Sandy a shot first before resulting to buy a goalie. But any who good riddance he's gone.

I saw. Only reason I said that because earlier this year he left for a while due to a complication in illness, so (odds aren't likely and I know that) there is a chance it could be that again. Again like I said, if it's true, take off the orange and black and never step into that locker room again

I'll withhold from saying anything about Hart, because best case scenario, even though it doesn't look like it, its completely coincidental. But if it is indeed because of 2018 I never want to see him in a flyers jersey again, and I imagine, torts, Briere, Jones truly value the culture they would feel the same. We have enough goalies to be fine in the future, with one being an absolute beast now in Ersson.

Flyers are not trading Farabee, finally healthy as is our most productive forward right behind TK. To add on that he's 23 and would take a limb to get the flyers to move him.

Good value for the flyers trade, but I still think they'd reject because we now have a logjam on the right side. Bonk, Risto, Attard, Grans, Drysdale, heck even York can play right side. To me, which I think is off the table, it'll have to be othman

Absolutely fair value for Draisaitl, considering he's arguably a top 3-4 center in the league, but I still say flyers reject based on the direction they are heading in. I could be wrong, but a similar package from a team like Minnesota, Blues, Carolina, etc. would absolutely work.
