Ideal 25-26 Team
Very unrealistic and not very ideal either. Especially that fourth line and a lot of underpays. Cap is probably at 92/93 by then too

Insane draft day deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jonh514</b></div><div>I agree. Cannot imagine the Sharks accept, but the Habs HAVE to jump on that. Demidov is even better than Zegras! (Sorry, couldn't help myself!)</div></div>
He's been compared to Jack Hughes in terms of raw skill. Also more reliable in all three zones then Zegras, only risk with him is if he can score at higher levels. MHL is too easy for him,

Insane draft day deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sharcuda22</b></div><div>No thank you we need some high end pieces. Need to land celebrini or Levshunov</div></div>
Obviously the don't do this if they land 1, but if they land 2 or 3; they select an elite D at 6 (Parekh, Dickinson, Silayev) and add another two 1st's including the CGY pick which could be a lottery pick in a very deep draft next year. It could make sense for them in the long-run and would probably speed up their rebuild. Highly unlikely though for sure

Another Hronek deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Altar7358</b></div><div>Toronto is gonna get a guy like Sean Walker in FA is my assumption</div></div>
I think they probably go a bit bigger and go hard at Roy. Seems like a prototypical Treliving D and a perfect Brodie replacement..
If not, Walker or DeMelo might be solid adds

Another Hronek deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TMLBRIAN</b></div><div>Not sure why Vancouver does this.
If Hronek becomes available, I would target him pretty hard if I were the Leafs.
1st + Lily + another piece.</div></div>
It would be quite hard for the Leafs to extend Hronek given what he wants or Treliving probably would pursue him in the offseason
McBain is an absolute perfect 3rd line piece on a contender (physical, versatile, good defensively, good forechecker and provides offence signed at a steal for next year). Moser is a solid two way guy who is VERY underrated in AZ while being young. The second would also be an early pick which IMO makes this a pretty intriguing offer. I think AZ may be willing to add a couple more picks or a prospect if needed.

If any Bluejacket fans rejecting this they might be mentally ill. A lottery pick this year, a former lottery pick, and a second rounder for Jenner is an absolute fleece by CBJ

If Bert takes less money Im in for sure
same for Sammy
Edmundson would be taking a significant cut at 9 but he is getting older so maybe thats plausible.
I like Roy at that price
Timmy as per his play thus far isnt worth 3 imo, but im hoping he finds his game soon.
he did play up to that standard while 44 was out so maybe.
if bert has a monster playoffs hes not accepting that imo</div></div>

Rumoured BLOCKBUSTER that got nixed
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SharkTank</b></div><div>Man PLD would be crucified in Boston. LOL</div></div>
I mean, I feel like he could flourish at the same time. It's the most Boston thing, and playing with potentially Marchand and Pastrnak he'd probably find his stride

Rumoured BLOCKBUSTER that got nixed
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Socal_King</b></div><div>Definitely wasn't rumored at all. Multiple people have said LA and Boston were working an Ullmark deal after he said no to another deal but ran out of time. But PLD wasn't apart of the deal. It's believed that Blake was calling teams to gauge their interest in PLD quietly and someone leaked it but he wasn't apart of any deals.</div></div>
There were rumours Boston poked around at Dubois. They did need a C real bad and Dubois and the only way it would make sense for both parties is if Boston acquired a C (could've been Danualt involved, who knows) and Kings got a goalie. Because Dubois was rumoured to Boston, my bet is that the framework was something like this. You could be right though, I just don't see who else LA would move that Boston would like right now who's a centre besides PLD

Parayko and Buchnevich
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>StDetroitBlueWings</b></div><div>That doesn't even get you one of them....
When will Leafs fans realize that no one actually WANTS their cap dumps and mid prospects</div></div>
Parayko is making 6.5 for the next 7 years likely making him a negative asset. Add that to the fact he’s injury prone and has back issues his price wouldn’t be exponentially high
Buchnevich price is rumoured to be 2 firsts, they get a 1st along with Liljergren who’s value is around a 1st along with Robertson as a sweetener
Also, STL could retain on Brodie and receive an asset in return

Trading a 1st in the 20’s for two likely mid/ late second rounders probably isn’t the greatest idea.

Jensen and Mantha
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KingExLeafs</b></div><div>Hopefully a trade like this happens at that price or something similar. But I think the price will be steeper.</div></div>
I would value Robertson at around a 2nd round pick; which should be about the price for Mantha (retention may warrant adding another late pick). There's no retention on Jensen meaning we pay 4 x 3 for a 33-year old; so I wouldn't think the price would be much more than a pair of thirds. Timmins could be dealt to a third team for retention + unsigned prospect/late pick

Jarnkrok is better than Laughton. Also, I still think we need a 1RD with Reilly (Bogosian isn't that). Would rather spend the 1st rounder on that than Laughton (an arguable downgrade)
