In terms of rebuild, trading for Horvat and getting back a right side D in Hronek is a retooling move, so obviously they're not rebuilding.</div></div>
Ahh didnt catch on with that. Also Hextall didnt have to trade Marino in the first place.

Bottom 6 and defense yes. Zucker still looks like hes 25. Dude is our best energy guy tbh. Always electric and brings lots of speed. Very underrated and was talked down by fans because of injuries

I also dont know why you dont like the Buffalo trade. I mean we can scratch the Dunn trade and sign Ghost or someone like that. This would mean Gudas does not sign and Smith plays

Neither were some of the guys in current days that jump out of no where and become something. Goalies are very unpredictable

I wouldnt be suprised if we let Jarry walk and start one of Lindberg, Gauthier, or Blomquist

You want Petry? After this season if we get a new gm I bet we move him. And apparently Canucks arent rebuilding 💀

New Lines
I was really impressed with Nylander in the CBJ game. Sully seems to really like him too. I could see him bring the next Guentzel for us. Came in late and did fantastic in reg and post season. I'd play him in the top 6.
Guentzel - Crosby - Rakell
Zucker - Malkin - Nylander
Granlund - Carter - Rust
O'Connor - Bonino - Heinen
Pettersson - Letang
Dumoulin - Petry
Kulikov - Rutta

Massive offseason changes
Brother you have to understand that we are not going to rebuild no matter what happens. This team wants a cup. Hextall said were going for the cup. That's not gonna change when Crosby, Malkin, and Letang are all still here. He resigned them because were contending for a cup. We arent rebuilding for another 2 or 3 years or whenever Sid retires

IMO, without Pettersson on our blue line, we're going to have a hard time making the playoffs, let alone winning a round. It's a lot of futures, which is fine, but it doesn't immediately make the team better imo.</div></div>
I think were gonna end up moving a dman for another forward. If I could replace Pettersson with Dumo I would

Well I mean Granlund can play all Forward positions, and Bonino can play LW too. He just got versatile players
