Pettersson is probably a top 5-7 DFD in the league bud.

Pens probably do that. Frees up room and allows us to run with Ned and Blom

Pens decline, we will not be retaining on Rust and thats a pretty low price for a nearly point per game guy.

There are too many holes and they refuse to play the youth so not much of a chance fixing it.</div></div>
Well that's why I said "if we play our cards right"

Am I delusional for thinking it's possible we can run it back and make it into the playoffs next year if we play our cards right?

Stamkos? To unrealistic, he is a TBL for life</div></div>
Hameenaho is a very underrated prospect. Jarry isnt worth that much, hes a pretty inconsistent guy. Bahl has top 4 D potential.

You forgot to add a 1st to the Pettersson deal. MP28 is worth a 1st and B or better prospect

You have 13 mil in cap space, you could at least try and sign some better free agents. Dubas will try and put together the best team he can while staying as young and fast as possible with Sid still on this team and committed.

Dubas said he considers him part of the core. He just moved here with his kids, I don't see him getting traded unless the offer is really good or makes sense. He also has to waive which is another thing.

1st and B+ or better prospect at least

We'd retain max 2.5 mil. 50% is too much

Nose Nukes And Rebuilding The Pens
You're selling low on everyone. MP28 gets a 1st and B+ or better prospect, Jarry pretty much the same or from NJ Holtz and a 2nd. Smith trade is fine. Eller can get a 3rd without retention. And EK65 the value just isnt worth trading him tbh

Guentzel to Carolina
They want "prospects" and that's plural depending on the roster player. Carolina adds another prospect or replaces him with Morrow. And not just a random prospect, a solid one.
