2024 ranked by tier - top 16
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CBA</b></div><div>I like what you did here but IMO Cayden Lindstrom is Tier 3 even if he will go out before some in Tier 2
Silayev would be tier 4 even if he will go out before some in Tier 3</div></div>
Lindstrom and Silayev are both big risers over the first half of the season.
Silayev is playing well against men in the KHL this season, and Lindstrom 27 goals in 32 games playing 1C is impressive.
Let's see what they do for the remaining of the season and playoffs, but they could fall if they can't keep their pace.

I have him 5th right now, but MTL need size, so they might pick him ahead of Demidov, Catton or any D.

Nashville was willing to trade Askarov+ for MTL 2023 1st (5th overall). If they trade him, it'll be for a high end prospect. I can't see them trade him for multiple pieces.

Lucky and win the lottery
Eiserman would be a great pick for MTL offence. He's a future 40 goals scorer comparable to Svechnikov.
Monahan will be on the decline when MTL is ready to compete, they shouldn't extend him.
Instead of paying to dump Dvorak, keep him as a 3C until Beck is NHL ready. He's the future 3C.
I feel Dach missed too many games early in his career to be a top 6C now. I think he'll end up on the RW with Suzuki and Caufield.

Huge Monty Trade
Campbell for Oilers 2024 1st and two 2nd is fine. 1st could easily be 11-20.
I'd rather have Holloway, but Bourgault for Montembeault is okay. He could come back and sign as a UFA with MTL this summer.
I wouldn't mind Kovacevic for a 3rd as a sweetener for the whole trade. Oilers need him as a cheap reliable 3RD.
I'd rather keep Ylonen, and unlike Kovacevic, i don't think EDM need him.

Any offer Is going to have to be a no brainer yes or else we aren't interested, honestly if Pettersson was available many teams could make a more attractive offer than this I.e Columbus. There is just no value here for us to downgrade pettersson into suzki</div></div>
To me, Suzuki and Barron have a higher value than Dach and Reinbacher, you can have them instead if you prefer.
In both case, MTL is offering 3 top 6 / top 4 pieces for 1 player.

MTL beating TOR, WPG and Vegas to reach SCF was great, but with Weber and Price career ending, Bergevin should have started the rebuild then.

He also said in that same interview that when you want to move up in the draft that much, you have to be willing to offer your best prospect, so he did. Neither of them bit and so it seems the door on NSH shopping Askarov has closed.</div></div>
I think NSH showed they would trade Askarov for a top prospect playing another position. I don't think the door has closed.
Not sure if they were targeting Smith, Michkov or Reinbacher, but they could use a top prospect at any position.
