Yeah, I think the reason people seem so hellbent to try and get Zegras is because of his friendship with Drysdale and York. Plus he's a strong player. I just can't see the Ducks moving him unless he demands a trade, which doesn't look like a current possibility.

If a smaller piece is like a draft pick in the 3rd range I'd think Philly would consider.

I'd rather move Foerster over Bonk, our defense was horrendous near the end. Granted I'd rather move neither of them as I don't think Zegras is up for grabs, nor do I think Zegras would fix the Flyers.

DRAFT EISERMAN PLUS TRADE UP FOR IGINLA
I mean Philly doesn't really need to clear cap, but if your offering such a low price to take it on I'll say yes.

That's a tough one because in the first half of the season Farabee had some of the best 5v5 stats in the league, but fell off in the 2nd half. I'm guessing in this scenario Chych comes with an extension?

I'd actually be pretty happy with this trade all things considered. It would be overkill to demand Ottawa's 1st, and Greig would fit good on the timeline for our rebuild.

21 points is 66 games on one hell of a rollercoaster season for him. I'd say a 3rd rounder is the most logistical.

Probable moves
Sanheim wants to be in Philly so I doubt he waives.
I don't think we should move Foerster or Andrae or draft picks for a young star. Sure we need star power eventually, but at the phase of the rebuild we're in we need to build from the inside, getting a star at the cost of futures isn't going to help in the long term or short term.

Now explain how you think that deal works for the Ducks, at all.....
Ah, I see you've added to it. I still point out, TK doesn't match our age bracket for our core, we'd be looking at a player who does. Forester fits that bill nicely.</div></div>
I doubt the Flyers move Foerster and I doubt the Ducks move Zegras. Maybe they could do a similar deal with Foerster and Zegras on the lines of Gauthier and Drysdale.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Roperttos</b></div><div>Not sure if he said he would only come to the Flyers, but he definitely didn't want to go to certain teams.</div></div>
Its believed that he preferred the Flyers, and didn't want the Coyotes or Capitals. I can only assume he had not wanted to Caps because he wanted to be known as his own person rather than "Ovi Jr."

The sample size of NHL games is not enough for me to vote yes or no to this. Time will tell.
Hopefully an offseason of training plus some more time to adapt to the NHL style of hockey and we'll get a good thing outta this.

That’s obviously ABSURD

Completely valid.

Bonk won't be moved. Flyers also need to rebuild to trading draft picks and your best d prospect for a pending free agent who could be looking for a pretty penny wouldn't work for us.

Flyers are not one good vet away from competing, Matheson wouldn't fix things. We need to rebuild still, so moving picks with no long term pieces coming back is not going to happen.

Laughts is a good third liner. He's not going to get back a 1st or a youth and second but to claim he's trash is just factually wrong.

Flyers need to stick to the rebuild, so losing a higher pick to gain a vet doesn't make sense.

What's more important to Mathews winning or money? So I guess you brought me to dumping on the players too. Has nothing to do with the fans I feel about Toronto fans much like I did about Red Sox fans prior to 2003 lovable losers. Every fan base has their

Jokes aside Anaheim would be demanding our highest 1st, just because Zegras wants to move in this scenario doesn't mean Anaheim no longer controls the bidding.

Both. Jason Robertson is untouchable likely, and the Stars are contenders who don't need to replace their star with young gus. Meanwhile the Jackets are still fixing things and need the futures to make sure they have a solid future foundation.
