Bjugstads contract only has 1 year left at 4.1 Mil, Domi isnt worth Poulin our first and a 1 year Bjugstad dump.</div></div>
I could see a McCann plus mid round pick for Domi.
Bjugstad more likely to team that needs center depth...maybe Winnipeg.

Word is Minny Mgmt isn’t happy with how he’s fitting in or performing. Hence the trade idea.

Realistic off-season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SweetRevenge19</b></div><div>The most realistic Bjugstad trade I’ve ever seen</div></div>
Also fairly pointless as he’s replaced with a $4.2 cap hit with Haula. Pens would be better off rolling the dice on Bjugstad.

There’s conflicting info out there. Latest I’ve heard is they aren’t at $81.5 unless JR absolutely needs to be there. Most likely they are $2-3M under heading into the season.

Question: Is Chris Tanev worth that contract or has he benefited recently by playing with Quinn Hughes?

Winning Now and Rebuilding for the Future
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>edeangel84</b></div><div>Because why would I give up another first in a deep draft to save a first in a weaker draft? And that “bad” trade dumped 5 plus million allowing me to sign two players who have the ability to match or surpass Letang’s points production in Shattenkirk and Gustafsson.</div></div>
The upcoming draft is more times than not billed up as a DEEP draft. The only safe assumption with next years draft is that the scouting will be truncated.
On Letang, I like Marino but do you think he is ready for top line duty or able to eat the minutes Letang does? IMO he’s a solid second pair dman.

Even if I could get on board with that idea...why wouldn’t you give up the Calgary first rounder you got in the bad Letang trade?

Ouchy all over the place. Perhaps most with trading a first to move up 5 spots in this years draft...would only be worth it to be in 1st or maybe 2nd OA.

Wasn’t that an 11th hour Chiarelli signing? If so, I bet Holland just loves having to deal with that now.

Now now lets not let that get in the way of two HOF GMs making a trade. Murray has been a pretty good playoff performer. 0.921 SV% average. Not too shabby considering the dude had to deal with his Dad dying in 2018.

Horrible trade for the Pens. Might as well trade Murray for a 7th. Yakupov v2.0 doesnt even scratch the surface.</div></div>
Maybe...at least they could spin Pul as an asset to someone else later. Better than a late round draft pick IMO.

Slight tweak to the Murray trade but I’d want the 2020 2nd round pick more. Short scouting period for next years draft.
