That's why I said he was placed on Waivers (low trade value when teams could have had him for no cost except his cap) also said he can bounce back that's the reason I put him where I did in Flames lineup. We need a shakeup

How is that trade exactly selling?

They upgrade by doing the trade I believe. Keep in mind Vrana was placed on Waivers, he can bounce back but trade value is low.

You have to give to get. It's not the best deal I'll admit but they are getting a hometown elite defenseman in Hanifin, Crouse who has tons of skill (great contract) and size to play Bruins kind of game, 2 great prospects and also a 2nd round pick. They give CGY 1 hit or miss roster player (Debrusk), a great prospect (Lysell) and some draft picks

Like they wouldn't trade Weegar or Huberdeau lol. Zito is in a tough spot and will have to basically lose Duclair. Flames are pretty cap strapped but Florida is getting a great D in Kylington, Rooney is good depth guy, 2 good prospects in Nikolayev and Pospisil, plus 2 draft picks. What would your trade for Duclair look like to head to the Flames?? :)

It's only $400K and plus they get Backlund as a great 3rd Line C, Depth from Pearson, Leadership from Lucic. I also retained on both Backlund + Lucic. The 3rd round pick and prospects is a + for Tampa.
