Super high on Lekkerimaki? Larsson would be, by far, Vancouver's best RHD. Almost 24 minutes a game, a +9 without great goaltending and chips in a point every so often.

My guess Van doesn't trade him without his consent IF they plan on re-signing him next year. He was an ufa that picked Van over every other team. He's going to be 27. If Van is going to fire sale the team, he may not want to come back. I think he expected them to be better.

I don't see an 'and' in my statement. Might be missing a comma but nowhere is there an and.

Most trades do suck. Hall has been in 3 of them. Hall for Larsson. Hall for #18 OA, Bahl and a 3rd +. And Hall for Bjork and a 2nd.

Ristolainen was a rental. He cost Haag, a cap dump, a 1st, #14 OA and a 2nd this year, probably in the 30s OA. He's nowhere near the player Kane used to be.

That always seems to be the case in a trade but when it comes time to sign him everything changes. Not that I make this trade, but do you make Matthews the highest paid player in the league and Nylander 10+ mil in 2 years. Or just let him walk for nothing?

I wouldn't listen if those two were in the trade. That doesn't get Dach. Caufield is, by far, the best player in the trade. The Rangers don't match up to what Montreal is willing to trade.
