Not sure if he does. Team made great strides this season. Boqvist has a chance to get a bit of a pay raise. QO or not. He could still go to market get more and NJ matches.

first off we dont have cap space to take on all 3 of those contracts. That's first thing. Secondly we would want prospects not roster players. Picks would 1st and 2nd plus prospects otherwise we wouldn't be able to fit under cap.

Objectively they don’t have cap space to sign Meier. You didn’t even put together a full 23 man roster which is the legal minimum and maximum that a roster need for a game. Because even then. Meier makes more like 9.5-10M which basically takes up the rest of your space and once again you need 2 more players on the roster to ice a full team.

And in typical market when the market is increasing . Guys who you think should get a little less move up the chart a bit more. Unless NJ is a income tax free area I don’t see how he makes it under that like Tampa does.

66 points in 78 games isn’t bad. A rough transition. That doesn’t exactly mean he isn’t worth it he was at almost a PPG before moving to a brand new team and system.

If you go just based off his numbers and not watching him play you are totally blind. Of course the amount of breakaway goals and 2 on 1 goals makes a load of difference.

What do you mean for no reason LOL. Doug Armstrong literally said he wanted a quick turnaround and trading Buchnevich for spare parts isn’t a quick turnaround he’s still one of our best players and isn’t on a UFA.
