Could Chytil be a fit
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kravtsov_Stan</b></div><div>Well first off I doubt Drury and Gorton will ever trade with each other, and second this move doesn't really make any sense for the Rangers as Chytil is almost set to return for the playoffs and Dvorak has been a disaster with MTL</div></div>
Also forgot to put the draft picks on here, its a 1st round pick plus the conditional pick

True on part 1, but for part 2, this helps NYR save $ and go after a top six right shot RW

Getting creative with Tavares
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SharkTank</b></div><div>Tavares has a NMC.
He's not waiving it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LEAFSMIGHTWIN_</b></div><div>if if Tavares does waive NMC why does Toronto drop down a round for a 70 point score on a 3.5 million dollar contract (that he wouldn't sign)</div></div>
He waives to get bought out and sign a team friendly deal back with the Leafs. He will end up making more money this way too, hence why he does it plus to help the team get better around him.

I still dont understand this team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>johum7</b></div><div>at the expense of our biggest weakness, flyers need centers, and won't be trading them unless it is for a significant upgrade or to get out from the couturier contract. especially a center like frost, he is the only player on the team who can create anything from nothing. poehling just signed an extension, he's not getting moved
goaltending (shockingly) isn't a need. ersson has simply been burnt through the ground. when he gets 40+ hours rest, he has a .910, anything else he's a .885 (stats were from a few days ago so have changed, but reasoning still holds true). with a legit backup/1B (which fedotov/kolosov will be), this won't be an issue
graves is alright, but again, not a significant need given that LHD for next year are york, sanheim, seeler, zamula, andrae, and ginning. next to no need to add a middle pair dman who's signed for 5 more years given that they won't need him in 2 years time</div></div>
You guys want out of the Coots contract?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>stuuuuuuuuuuutzle</b></div><div>Definitely don't hate the Jarry trade from a Sens perspective - it's actually probably a very good one for us.
The Norris trade is probably stealing for Ottawa - but that would be Pittsburgh really swinging for the fences because if Norris could find his game again, you're getting a 35-goal scorer for free to play on a powerplay that has been awful.</div></div>
So is the Norris trade too much?

Barron trade is very meh, I don't hate it, but I'd rather have Morrow in the top 4
Vaakanainen doesn't make much sense. There will be guys of the same quality in free agency, or trade Fast for someone like Erik Brannstrom. Moving mid round picks seems counterintuitive.
Sure, I'll take Kaly for that.
WAY too much for both Jarvis and Necas. I can see Necas getting more than 7, but he's not getting more than 8. Jarvis is 100% getting bridged, but for the purposes of discussing a long term deal, I'd expect less than 7 for him. One great season doesn't make him worth 8.</div></div>
Would you trade Staal back to PIT?
