NJ doesn't want him. Not for the price after Fitz spent so long building the future not in need of a SC this year. NY has famously overpaid at the TDL and i think Kane extends so it won't be as a rental.
Drury still has a 1st in a loaded draft. Most sources are saying its a likely package.

The Offseason is built off of overpays. Maybe you get rid of a draft pick from the trade. But losing BW would be a good thing for NJ and picking up 3rd in a deep draft is solid. SJ isn't willing to start there rebuild so they will probably want more for Timo.
Offseason are meant for overpays when you have star players.
Ill take Timo and Vlad as a combo over Bratt

Size matters in hockey. If you don't think so you are insane. If you want a cup run you need more then just pure scorers.
Having Size with speed and playmaking in Timo is what this team needs.

Timo is not a bad player. He’s a fantastic volume shooter, aphysical top lineforward, and a player I would love to see play I. NJ…But Jesper Bratt is the player id prefer, just considering the numbers point to him being a more positive contributor (and on both sides of the ice), and all that just means one less total point on the season, and the goals are distributed elsewhere.

Personally id take Timo. The size is needed and if you can put Vlad in its worth it rounding out the top 6 and pushing Tatar and Gov to the bottom 6.

I don't think its a matter of who's better, Both are equal solid and TM with Nico will be a upgrade and possibly hell want to stay. Bratt wants to go elsewhere let him. ( I think he wants to stay but his agent will make him hold out for more.)

Personally Id gather give VT or TM the money they have proven talent and Bratt has had Hughes by his side. If NJ is looking to win in the next 5 years depending on Goaltending. However Id gather spend the money on a est. Goalie.

Idk after last nights presser of Lindy ripping Sevo. I think they do. Out of all of the Dman Sevo is the odd man out and wont be resigned. However that will def get more then this in return

All good, Wouldn't mind NJ signing Graves longer term but with Nemec and Hughes on there way in they may be less willing to give out long term contracts I see Hughes being a upgrade between Sevo and Graves.

Alright then scrap reaves for a fourth line big body. There's other options that can be for less. Also dude if your first comment is regarding someone grammer ... Not taking you seriously.
The only reason Bratt is on the 3rd line is if the are juggling line and they roll out three skilled lines with a threat. Zetterlund has been playing solid with Nico. Bratt is a top line caliber but putting him with Mercer and Govich can elevate them both to take the next step.

Guess you didn't read the part of Holtz and Zetterlund splitting time. Holtz isn't looking to hottest rn. Reaves would be a great vet addition on the 4th line to use his body. A piece needed for the cup imo. I also think Blackwood will be ignored if they can land a solid #1 like Jarry. Likely traded maybe for a late pick. not a concern. Who wouldn't take Jarry over Blackwood.

Why doesn't NJ Trade Holtz? He and Zetterlund are splitting time i personally think Zetterlund may look better. If he brings in a Elite Wing I say do it. Also it wouldn't be for a rental Its assuming Vlad agrees to sign long term. Also never said a cup run but tbh if the goaltending gets hot and they are in the playoffs (possible) Vlad can push them into the category and will only improve.
