Leonard and Stenberg? I'll stop watching the Wings if that happens.

Draft day and off season
I love the Vancouver trade. It's fair and makes sense. Not sure if Vancouver wants to pursue this, or if they can stomach the last year of Myers.
The Winnipeg and Colorado trades are bad for everyone. Picks after 20 are about as good as picksin the 40s. No need to move up.

No, I think the value is right. Retention should be at least 2 million though.

Understand that and be better.</div></div>
Until the ownership changes, the organization doesn't deserve fans. If this happened in my Red Wings organization, I'd probably be a a Hawks, Leafs, or Jackets fan.
I will not "be better." Reminding people of what happened IS being better. The league swept this under the rug so fast it is sick. Don't forget, the Hawks knew of Aldrich's despicable acts, and wrote him a letter of recommendation.
The Hawks should have been punished far worse. If th LA Clippers owner can be forced to sell the team for saying racist things, the Hawks ownership should have been forced to sell for supporting a rapist.

I only trash the fan base because the fan base is so insufferable. Palhal on here is about the only Leafs fan who will be reasonable and realistic. The rest are a bunch of unreasonable whiny butts.

Is It Realistic
Flyers fans will say no, but this is probably realistic for TK. Maybe swap Sebrango and McIsaac, as I don't think Sebrango has an NHL career in front of him, but McIsaac is probably 2nd pair in a couple years.

More mediocre dead wings years to come.</div></div>
And yet, I can still cling to several cup wins, playoff victories, and even some near victories that I can actually remember. What do Leafs fans have? Memories of Darcy Tucker fighting and wasting a great career of Mats Sundin?

Build for Bedard
How awesome would it be for Bedard, and all future picks, and players for that matter, to refuse to work for Chicago due to toxic ownership? The Wirtz family knew about the rape if the players, coaches, and management knew about it. Ownership did nothing. Absolutely toxic.

Even if Detroit misses the playoffs for the next decade, they will still have more second round playoff wins than the Leafs for over two decades.

I wanted Stutzle so bad. I wanted Holtz (better shot than Raymond and a Center). I got Raymond. I ate my words after his rookie year. I expected a sophomore regression, which there was. If Raymond doesn't pot 25 goals and set up 40, I'm calling it a disappointment. Raymond needs to put up 65-70 points this next season. My problem isn't that Raymond slumped, it is how he slumped. He stopped doing the things that made him good as a rookie, just like Zadina did in year 2. Am I worried? Not yet. Just something to keep an eye on.

Then you can find a new slant as to why he didn’t want to leave detroit instead of accepting that Detroit is in the bottom 5 cities to live in with an NHL team.</div></div>
Actually Detroit is one of the more desired cities to raise a family. Low cost of living, plenty of amenities, lots of nature, abundant lakes, close proximity to other cities. Detroit as a hockey organization takes care of it's players even after retirement.
The some science nerd did an interesting study on climate and best places to live. Guess where the best place to live in the world?
