Ideally, it would be someone around Boeser's age who can play Top-4 minutes to fit the Canucks' retool would be what they're looking for. Rumors out of Pittsburgh said the Canucks were looking hard at Pettersson/Joesph, so players of that sort of ilk.

Canucks aren't trading Boeser for a winger with a laundry list of problems. Boeser has turned his game around in the latter half of this season, Vancouver will look to swap him for a defenseman or a center.

You didn't "point" to more facts than I did. I tried to explain you the CONTEXT but you're probably just part of a generation of uneducated people raised by Youtube and TikTok who think their baseless no substance opinions are facts. You had the choice to become a little bit smarter and informed but you decided to ignore and keep your head buried in the sand (If you are more than 22 then you're just unevolved, which is not better)
There was a lot of idiots like this who were saying the exact same crap about Brannstrom last year. The kid took a major step this year and it will only go up for him. I have seen so many of these stupid takes. What's funny is you always end up throwing the exact same stuff at me than I said before, like if we were playing "mirror-mirror". Keep it up if you want, pretty good case study for me actually</div></div>
I provided a player in a similar situation as JBD (Beaudin) and what they went for, I gave recent examples of the players' trade values. Please, continue to demonstrate how utterly incompetent you are.

Penguins need toughness
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hockeyfan1234</b></div><div>Lol no they weren’t. GM Ron Hextall said they were never trading any defensemen and that actually the whole reason they traded for Kulikov was because Ty Smith is likely out til the playoffs and Ouellet is out for the season. So they weren’t going to trade two LD and make Friedman a top 4 D for the rest of the season. You guys gotta stop believing your idiot Canuck “insiders” who make up stupid stuff for click bait.</div></div>
That wasn't from Canuck insiders, the original reports were from Shayna at the Athletic and Penguins insiders. Canucks have had 0 leaks.

No way does VAN take that, Pittsburgh was offering multiple picks + POJ/Pettersson for Miller three days ago and the Canucks declined that. A third team willing to part with a young center has to be involved for the Penguins to get Miller.

Potential Players in Vancouver
Canucks aren't trading Garland, otherwise, they would have shopped him at the deadline as they did with Boeser and Miller. He's been one of their best forwards this season at both ends of the ice and is on a pretty reasonable contract for a 50-point two-way winger. If he's traded, it'll be for a higher price than that — an upgrade at center or on the blueline.

If the Devils think that gets it done for Quinn, they'd have no problem if the Canucks counter with Boeser and a 1st for Jack Hughes, and Garland and a 2nd for Luke Hughes.

What are you talking about? Two days ago there was a discussion between PIT and VAN about a Boeser swap for Pettersson/POJ, maybe both.

This is not a Top-10 pick. It's Top-12 protected by the Islanders, unless NYI crashes and burns this year and next, it's likely a 13-24 range pick.

Not really a one-off year. Hronek's had a 40-point pace every year he's been in the league despite being on one of the worst offensive teams.
2018-19: 46 games, 23 points | DET 22nd in scoring

Like I said a few posts ago "<em>You just never listened or understood what I said, there's no point in arguing with someone who does that</em>"</div></div>
There was no discussion. I was pointing to facts, you were pointing to opinion. Get over yourself, dude. Your inability to properly comprehend what is being said in plain English isn't my problem. Continue believing what you want, the rest of us will be here in reality.

The Canucks would only be retaining on the last year of Miller's 5.25M contract, they legally cannot retain his 8M contract at this time.
