Any team but the Sharks.

Dumping Husso will cost more.

Ullmark will cost more.

If Veleno gets 2.2 in arbitration then Yzerman needs to walk away.

Hakanpaa isn't going to sign with Detroit to be 7D.

Seider probably gets closer to Larkin money.

You're buying UFA years and the cap is projected to increase each season.

Plus Mo is logging hard minutes each night blocking too many shots. 😬

My perspective is it will take Buium or Wallinder plus a second round pick to secure Ullmark. I’d be surprised if he’s traded for less than first round value.

You're going to have to give Boston something of value if you want ullmark

I’ve seen the Buium and a 2nd proposal a few places. Was thinking Viro and a 4th was pretty equal to Buium.

I used the Sharks for obvious reasons: rebuilding, cap space…

I’m not sure dumping Husso will cost a lot with only 1 year left and he’s at the very least a serviceable backup on a bad 1 year deal.

I’ve seen a few Ullmark for a young D prospect and a 2nd trades on here, so ai added a 4th.

Veleno likely gets less but that’s the max I’d imagine. I like Veleno, I think he does a lot of the little things well.

Hakanpaa would be in the lineup, Petry scratch. I missed that one.

Seider and Raymond contracts are interesting. We’ll see where they land.

Grier isn't stupid.

He's not doing Detroit a favor just because you want Detroit rid themselves of Husso's contract.

The Sharks don't have to make bad trades just because they have cap space.

Is that obvious enough for you?

Pay up or keep him.

Veleno simply isn't worth 2.2 mil.

You're blind about Ullmark.

It's Detroit fans who've proposed a prospect and a 2nd.

Most Bruins fans and other teams fans have them getting a 1st in return which is fair because he's a recent Vezina winner.

To me the idea of getting Husso and a pick for basically nothing, then possibly flipping him at the TDL to a goalie desperate team for another pick makes sense.

Again, that’s would be the max for Veleno, 1.5 is more accurate.

As far as Ullmark goes, I’ve seen at least 3 Bruins fans suggest Buium and a 2nd for him. Remember, goalies rarely get traded for much, especially on expiring deals.

Rarely, do goalies with this pedigree become available without the team being in cap distress. GM’s like winning and stability too much.

Almost every trade of a goalie that gets flagged here as proof of value has underlying cap implications or teams are incented to keep them. I don’t believe the market for forwards is driven by the cap dumps that have happened recently and show them as proof why x player should be cheaper.

The contract being up is the biggest point. I also don’t believe Wallider or Buium plus a 2nd is that big of a price to pay.

I would prefer Boston trade Ullmark to give him the chance he deserves, but keeping him is easily a consideration if teams low ball Sweeney.

Fine, Buium and a 2nd and Illmark signs a 3 year extension. Deal
