Nothing interesting for Winnipeg. If Ehlers is traded it needs to be a hockey trade for a top 4 RHD or 2C with term or team control.

but someone else maybe. i think they could want good young defense?

i say this because i know how hardit is to get ufas to come to mtl. because of ...taxes, french, quebecquiness.

but the canadian prarie provinces have it just as tough, with OUR fans in THEIR stands.

so i would usually deal to these aforementioned prarir locations youth, and term, or picks.

they need long term control. by then may the player has roots gron and wont run away so easily.

how about a young d line. both sides: kova and harris(or struble?) with winnipegs pick.

None of Kovacevic, Harris or Struble work for the Jets. Winnipeg has plenty of bottom pairing and lower guys.

This isn't that bad... but this is a seller's price rather than a hockey trade price

If the Jets move Ehlers, chances are they're going to prioritize a hockey trade price
