The Oilers have been cursed.

There is still time to dust off the Campbell jersey because Skinner is not a playoff goalie (neither is Jack but at least it'll be entertaining).

No San jose isn’t paying two 4th for a rental. Free agency is where it’s at

What's stopping Berggren from playing top 6 in an easier org like DET? Or top 9?
If he can't make an immediate impact on DET than what makes him worth a 1st in EDM?
He's a better prospect than EDM's prospects BUT... he's not tearing the doors off

PIT will be hanging onto their pick, but I’m sure a deal of RFA(s) for Kulak is in the realm of possibility.

Waiver exemption and Patrick Kane falling into Yzerman's lap lol.

He received 6 points in 12 games this season in Detroit. He absolutely should’ve been in the NHL imo, however, he had an amazing season in the AHL, and is now ready. He would be a terrific cheap (contract wise) winger for Draisaitl. He will absolutely be up in the NHL for a full time job next year. I wouldn’t call Detroit the “easier organization”… our winger depth is not really terrific by any means.

DET was well under the cap. He got 12 GP, the last of which was b4 the TDL.
What makes him worth a 1st?

If you think Berggren is better than Hyman, RNH, Kane, Henrique than I'd love to hear this explaination

The cap and waiver exemption have nothing to do with each other...

DET having 2.8M in cap space with an open roster spot DEFINITELY SAYS A LOT ABOUT HIM NOT BEING ON THE ROSTER!

He played three games post TDL and then was held out as a healthy scratch for several after that.

... Would you like to know why?

Again, salary cap doesn't have **** all to do with waiver exemption.

I didn’t say that, however, McLeod gets good wingers, with Holloway getting a real shot. I’m not a fan of Kane with Draisaitl, I like him more on the third line, and Nuge would be on the first, if it wasn’t for what I said about Holloway. Henrique has not been impressive, and personally, I wouldn’t be mad if he walked to the UFA market. I rather get Draisaitl new wingers, that I believe he could mesh with in Joshua, Berggren.

Detroit signing too many forwards in free agency and then adding Kane along with his waiver exemption. The year before our team was absolutely devastated with injuries. Stevie signed players so we had depth. Berggren suffered for that.

I could see the Pens doing FC on that.
Problem as is, is the FA market. They can find a guy there and that's probably their current route.
But taking the cap hit off your hands for free, might be possible.
