Philly is 100% stupid enough to do this and we should jump at the chance. I think if they get big boy Lindstrom at 5 though that they might be willing to grab Catton at 12. That’s my wish.

Hughes has already been turning down more trades for Xhekaj as reported by the fourth period. Xhekaj is going to remain in a Habs jersey for the foreseeable future.

I really hope so, i like him a lot. Unless you get a offer you just can’t refuse i don’t see him getting trade either. He is a fan favorite and must sell ton’s of merchandise.

I mean, Hughes really couldn't (at least I hope not) turn 12th overall down for Xhekaj, not matter how much he'd prefer to keep him. His replacement is literally already in the organization with Struble, so it's not like there would be a huge hole if he were to leave.

Although I am looking forward to the crazy fun of seeing what both Xhekaj brothers can do on the ice at the same time.

I will admit Chuck Fletcher would have been tempted by this offer. Briere has also shown a bit of interest in this kid but no, they won’t be trading 12 for him. Not a chance.
