Come on now. Kunin had 18. He’s also a rfa. Anderson has 3 more years at double Kunins QO. Quit being a homer</div></div>
So what, each year there dozen of players that underachieved and rebound the year after. Habs are in no rush to move out salary, so this trade is absolutely useless. The only beneficiary is San Jose who get a first round pick.
Kunin had absolutely no value to any trade for any team. There hundred of players like him.

Mentoring, leadership, off the ice stuff Matheson is implicated in many charities event. All those thing are not quantifiable but so much valuable to a organization. Just like Logan Couture will do with the young upcoming group in San Jose.

Yes Kunin have absolutely no value. What the point of trading Anderson when Mtl have no cap issues, giving away a first round pick to acquire a guy’s they won’t even qualify and play. That would be the stupidest thing that could happen. The only team that is benefiting from this trade is San jose who get a first round pick, a 20 goal scorer and 2 late pick. All that for a players that isn’t near Anderson level.
How stupid this sounds?

I really hope so, i like him a lot. Unless you get a offer you just can’t refuse i don’t see him getting trade either. He is a fan favorite and must sell ton’s of merchandise.

Mtl ain’t paying for Anderson. You won’t get a first round pick for sure. 0 chance especially for Kunin who have no value at all.

it’s pretty unrealistic to think that Mtl who already have to much forward with One way deal to take on Jarnkrok. Unless the return is substantial they won’t make this deal.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>Conversations can start anywhere…but any realistic ending point would not include Nemec and Mercer.</div></div>
So forget about Tkatchuk. Senators won’t just gave him away for literally nothing of high quality. Marino is a fifth defenseman. Holtz is a dedensive liability that haven’t established himself has a offensive weapon and a 10th pick overall doesn’t make up for the value. Realistically Nemec and Mercer is at least the starting point. Like it or not, if you want to entertain Tkatchuk trade talk, there a certain price to pay.

This ain’t happening, Mtl ain’t sending a first pair defenseman for a midget forward. Minnesota could had all they want the only interesting piece remain Boldy.

futur after 5th ovrl pick
Pretty sure that Eiserman won’t be selected top 10. He seem to have a attitude issue. Is body language doesn’t fit what the Habs are looking for. Eiserman as shown lots of frustration in many occasion this year when he wasn’t having the puck on the powerplay. Not a team player.

I don’t think Andlauer would want to trade Brady at any cost until Tkachuk express is desire to get out. Brady should be a centerpiece with Stutzle and Sanderson. They just need to fix that ****ty defense.

I don’t think he will. I think Columbus Ottawa and Utah will split Buium, Parekh and Silayev. Seattle would have to settle for Dickinson who is solid but not near Buium ceiling in my opinion. Dickinson have very limited offense and is much likely a second pair shutdown guy. Seattle could benefit from Buium offensive skill.

Ohl big draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>habs_trade_churner_50</b></div><div>Owen Beck for Sharangovich 1 for 1 does not make sense to me. Yet alone adding so many other prospects, players and picks. Very poor asset management. (I agree that Harris and Farrell have been frustrating at times this season, but that does not mean they are worth nothing. Harris is not going anywhere unless a 2nd comes back, or he is part of a larger package. Farrell would need to be flipped for a seemingly interesting prospect in return.)
The VGK trade is fair based on pick value, and could happen. (Especially if someone like Sennecke is still on the board.)
If Seattle wants to move up. Then, I would ask for a package: 8OA + 40OA + Jani Nyman, otherwise more picks are not very useful in my opinion.
I would not do the Colorado trade. Would rather have the 2nd in 2025 from Pittsburgh, as well as keeping the 40OA this year.</div></div>
Sennecke won’t be their at 19th, he won’t make it past the Devils.
As for Sharangovich, you need to pay a certain price to acquire a big goal scorer. Owen beck is clearly not enough. I like him a lot but is ceiling is limited and Calgary will ask for more. Based on what Vancouver gave for Lindholm, this is a package that could very likely make it done.

MTL aren’t trading for Sharangovich and definitely not paying that money AND those assets</div></div>
Buium is above Dickinson and Silayev by a significant marge. Seattle already is loaded with offensive talent in their pipeline. Trading up for Buium make total sense if they believe he is their guy.
And Sharangovich is the exact prototype of player Hugues and Gorton are looking for.

Kaliyev had 1 less goal and 5 less points at 21. Hes only going to get better. Anderson is slowing down, Speed and Size are his biggest assets and hes losing one. He is not smart enough to survive. I do this deal to get rid of his contract.

Habs doesn’t make this deal. Not a single chance. Matheson is to valuable to them. Gavrikov was a hot target because of is salary now that he is making 5,7 he ain’t attractive as he was

Anderson have been averaging 20 goal a season for most of is career. Their no reason why it wouldn’t be the case next year. The hate for him have reach disproportionate proportions. Yes he is making a lot of money but he still a valuable players. Their a lot of players in the exact same position as him, PLD is one of them. I don’t see any incentive for Mtl to make such deal. Anderson will likely bounce back. Can’t be worst than last season. Matheson have been great.
Kaliyev is intriguing but not enough to pull the trigger and Gavrikov is a ufa defenseman who Habs have no interest of keeping.

Yes there are bad giveaways and he’s not quick or amazing at moving the puck, but look what Justin Holl got last year, team were offering $3M + a year and he ended up getting $3.4M for 3 years. He is far far much better than Holl who can’t do any of the things Edmundson does. So I see him getting a deal like this</div></div>
The concern with Edmundson is his ability to stay healthy. I doubt a team will commit such money on a 3 years term. I would be shock if he gets more than 3 millions a season.

Edmundson won’t be that expensive, probably 2,5 millions would be more than enough especially with a 3 years term
