I WAS WAITING FOR THIS

I love Grebyonkin, he is looking to be such a steal for a 5th rounder, winning KHL rookie of the year last year.
I have high hopes for him

Interesting that they signed him for this year, is it to get him money for this year and burn a year?

Let's go! Grebyonkin is (in my opinion) the Leafs best prospect. This kid does it all. He was super successful in the KHL despite having an ever-changing role, and constantly looked incredible. Greb is a warrior and a KHL champion.

Such a good prospect and a complete steal for the Leafs in the later stages of the draft. I cannot wait to see him in North America, he is going to turn a lot of heads. Remember the name

Yeah the timing must have to do with his bonus and the Leafs getting it under this year's cap instead of next years. That part is always confusing.

I had been waiting on this for quite awhile in one of my deep fantasy dynasty leagues but I cut bait when it didn't happen in time for my roster cutoff (since his KHL season was extended for the playoffs/championship).

Good signing (as in: he is coming to NA) so there can't be any complaints about it; there will be some roster spots at F between NHL/AHL that he can compete for

Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet so depending on if you use the Russian or Anglicized version of the name, it’ll be spelled different
