Leafs don't need a backup goalie, give us Gudas for that 3rd and it's done though.

Why would Montreal want to pay a 3rd round pick for a goalie when they have the best Goalie in the world? If anything Montreal will trade Niemi and bring up Lindgren to play as backup for the rest of the season. They easily reject.

He is on an expiring deal and he is an upgrade over Niemi. We all know Price needs someone to eat up some games down the stretch to keep him healthy.

OMFG I want what drugs you are on (please share)!!! Neuvirth can't stay healthy for a month. On what world (in the infinite parallel universes) is he worth a third rounder? If Philly can get a 6th for him, it would be a blessing. We're stuck with him until April. Elliott can probably garner a 5th seeing he has had trouble staying healthy as well. Current injury was supposed to be two weeks and we're looking at almost three months now. If you're looking at Seguin, Dallas is going to want at least another body and not five unknown futures. You'll have to include someone like NAK or Ruby or even Strome. The Simmonds trade is dead on. You could even add a body on the return instead of the 3rd rounder.
