With Pettersson playing so well I have no problem moving him up into the top 4 to play more of a shutdown role with Schultz. Pete is also young, can still develop and will be much cheaper than Maatta

At this point I think it's time to move on from Kessel. Yes, he's in a slump and so was Geno for a good portion of this year, but I feel as though Kessel's value is only going to go down. I believe the Pens could still fetch at least a 1st+prospect for Kessel to make room for some upcoming youth in the lineup, or to use that money to go after a FA or offer sheet Marner or Point if that situation arose.
