Description
Also could just trade Kreider for a top 15 pick.
Lots of defensive prospects not in NHL: Rykov, Lindgren, Lundkvist, Miller. Between all, there will surely be busts, and others who could play NHL roles but there isn’t room for can be moved in exchange for better forwards, or picks.

    Couple of things

    No from Carolina,
(with fox gone already, bean is not going )

    No From Arizona,
(the poorest team in the league is not tossing away money for a guy not to play)

They’d still have Haydn Fleury, but I suppose Bean is important to them.
As for Arizona, how are they the poorest team in the league. They certainly have more cap space than the leafs. If you mean in terms of revenue, that has no correlation since cap is the same for everyone.
    How is Tampa trade?

I’m still confused. I get they are poor, but they still have decent cap space right? What else does it come down to?

they don't have the cash to pay him

I get that the cap is 83 mill

but not every team makes enough money to spend to the cap

you have Shattenkirk being traded to Arizona, then being bought out

Arizona would have to pay him the rest of the cash on his contract to buy him out (maybe like 80% or something IDK the exact#)

and they don't have that extra money to do something like that
    ChytilMania liked this.
