Description

Why go for a mediocre LD, when there is an elite RD available. A powerplay ran by Karlsson with Weber as a one time option will surely be an improvement over last year.

Traded Alzner and assets to Ottawa to make room for the following years. Anderson will backup price next year. Taking MacArthur's contract makes this move more doable financially for Ottawa.

I think if Karlsson would be willing to come here there's no question we'd be interested, regardless of RD vs LD. I just don't see him being interested.

I can't say either, he'd be a huge boost to the defence though. I think the habs will add a big player in free agency this year, they are one of the better teams out there with $10M to use in free agency
