Description
Trades:
- Bouma gets traded to Columbus after a rough year, Columbus saves 500k giving up a 3rd rounded to do so
Signings:
Enroth- a proven backup goalie to bring some competiton and push Elliott to be even better
Lines:
1F- Tkachuck bring the big body that plays in the dirty are that Gaudreau and Monahan need, becoming one of the more dominant lines in the NHL
2F- this line worked well last year with Backlund and Colborne getting career high points so no need to break it up
3F- speed, skill and grit, the new coach want to use Raymond in the NHL and this is his chance, Bennett continues to get sheltered minutes, Chaisson get a chance at a breakout year with some skilled player
4F- Defensive line, Hartnell gets a fresh start but gets roated around with Ferland and Bollig, Stajan is there to win draws and Agostion is the fast guy that line needs
1D- One of the best defencive pairings... nuf said
2D- Hammilton gets a chance to step into the offence with Jokipakka playing more defencive
3D- Andersson gets a chance in the NHL but Engelland will play against bigger teams, Wideman will get traded at the TDL but will QB the pp till then
G- Flames let Ortio walk and bring some competition in with Elliott and Enroth
