Description

• General idea here is not to fill every need, but to get the roster to what it may look like after the draft. They'll need to continue to make moves throughout the season.
• Buyout Jack Johnson
• Trade Murray (prevents expansion draft charade)
• Hold Hornqvist (potentially remove contract via expansion draft next year)
• Bjugstad's value is low, I think he'd be hard to trade, might go LTIR if injuries are chronic
• Build a cheap 3rd pair that requires no long term commitments, possible targets are: Sekera, Del Zotto, Borowiecki at LD and Dymelo, Bogosian or Folin at RD.
• POE may need more time in AHL but would be great if he could make the team
• 3C remains a big need, ideal scenario would be to trade Murray with the 15th overall to Minnesota for their 9th, then draft Lundell and slot him in right away but I don't think Murray's value is enough to move up 6 spots.
