Just curious how you plan on acquiring Tomas Tatar without making a trade for him. Unless you've a Pouliot for Tatar deal that i'm missing somewhere.

This was a hypothetical cap management, saying that it can be done. Someone on HB was favoring Bonino over Tatar (never gonna happen, but it was a hypothetical roster construction.) And I just threw in Smith because I didn't feel like scrolling through a bunch of players, replace smith with any adequate 3rd pairing defenseman for around 1.5-2.5.

Trade to the Kings was also hypthetical, although without Quick (if it's an extended period of time of course), why wouldn't Fleury, or maybe Bishop be on their radar? I just traded him to whoever came to mind to get a cap dump. I was solely focused on seeing how the money COULD work.
