Coyotes as Sellers

Goalies as rentals will be a lot hotter than normal too.

Say if Arizona were to be sellers, Arizona will need a 21-22 signed defender to expose for ED. Say if the Canes wanted Kuemper and Demers /Goligoski (retained). what would the package look like with Fleury (assuming Gardiner is out of the question) in it?

Keumper is signed for next season too, which is the main reason he commands a first rounder tbh.

As far as that trade goes, you guys want Goligoski instead of Demers. He’s lost a step this year for sure. I think if you add a third and a bottom 6 young forward that gets it done. So that trade would look like:

Keumper
Goligoski (50%)

To AZ:
Bokk
Reimer
Fleury
Foegle (maybe Geekie here, not sure who would be available)

I think the coyotes could be talked into dropping the young forward out of the deal if the pick is bumped to a 2022 2nd too. Let me know what you think

EDIT: the more I think about it the young player doesn’t need to be included. Fleury and the second would be enough to add Goligoski to the deal
