Description

Tempt Hamilton with the opportunity to QB a powerplay with McDavid, Draisaitl, Hall and RNH. Hall realizes that if he wants to get paid on another long term deal, he has to put up big numbers on a show-me contract. Edmonton gives him the best opportunity. Nuge returns with term to a modest reduction from $6M to $5M. Drieger gets one year to earn the starting job and if he does, he can have Kostinen’s salary for his next deal.

Hall is resigning in Boston IMO. Hamilton isn't signing that in Edmonton. Maybe in Carolina. RNH is probably going to demand more

RNH won’t sign at 5M for sure. He’d much rather come home to Vancouver where it seems the canucks are already planning on going all in by shedding salary with picks and in the mix for eichel/Reinhart. I’d say he gets around 6.7 to 7.2 from any team in the league

Then let them throw their money at him. He isn’t worth more than $5M a season. His numbers just wouldn’t be there without McDrai padding. 40-50 point guy as a 2C.
