Doan is not expensive and it would be of service for john Chayka to send him off for a playoff run. John always talked about getting a young centre that could play now. even though pollock isn't nhl ready he is young, big, and a heavy player that can grow into a 3rd line centre at a pretty cheap price. the 3rd is chipper that can become a second if the flames make the conference finals which is a long shot but plausible with a guy like doan added to the right side
