Believe Yamamoto signs a bridge deal similar to the Bear bridge deal..
Sprinkle in some of the farm influx of talent in the bottom 6 w/ a couple existing roster players and seasoned vets..
I can see Larsson signing for that AAV for 4-6 years, OR a higher AAV with 3 or 4 years..
Nuge I doubt would take a paycut, so maybe they sign him to the same term and $$..
Smith signs an incentive deal, but gets back to the base salary he had 2 years ago..(incentives can pay up to $1m more)..
Only way I see Holland moving the first round pick is getting one later in the same round or a couple mid picks, however if he could dump Koskinen's salary to a team that needs a backup and make a pick 20ish picks later, might be worth the shot...
With bringing Shore back, I really don't see room for Khaira, plus if the Oilers could bring in a Veteran presence like Sutter who can Win faceoffs, kill penalties, and can be trusted in many situations, it's a low risk high reward solidified 4th line(he was just being paid too much to be the 4th line C in Van)...
In a perfect world it would be worth the gamble to sign Dreidger, but chances are he's taken in the expansion(if not rights traded before and signs elsewhere) and with Grubauer being the top goalie, and Ullmark as basically the no 2 on the market, might have to up the years and slight AAV to land him, think the $4.2AAV over 4-6 years would be decent for both player and club...
I really wouldn't hold my breathe for the Granlund signing, given his brothers experience with the club a couple seasons ago, but you never know...
With all these you still have NHL ready assets that can be moved pre-season, or if say Granlund doesn't sign use them as trade bait to bring in a more established LW, plus there's still plenty of room to activate Klefbom, should he be able to continue his career at any point during the season...
And, you don't have to buyout Neal this year and have dead cap space for 4 years, you can bring him back for at least one more season to see if he sorted things out, or potentially buy him out next season....
